Title 21 Chair Report

May 1, 2018

Currently the only outstanding item related to Title 21 that I have on my radar is the R2M zoning height restriction of 30 feet or 2.5 stories.

We feel that the 2.5 story requirement is hindering development of many R-2M properties, which doesn’t serve the community well.

The MOA is working on draft language to put out to the public for discussion.

General timeframe is to have the assembly adopt this year, for benefit of the 2019 construction season.

I will get the draft language to our members as soon as it is available for review.
