Spenard Builders Builders Supply has been serving Alaska since 1952. With over 600 employees at 20 locations throughout the state, our main priority is our customers. We provide homebuilding solutions through supply, design, delivery, manufacturing and installation for a full range of structural and related building products. SBS is diversified in the market with civil, rural, residential, retail and commercial divisions. We’re Alaska’s leading supplier of pre-engineered building components, including wall panelization, commercial and residential floor, and roof trusses.
As a longtime Alaska company we’re able to stay relevant through innovation. We’re staying on the forefront of the building industry with the launch of our Digital Tools platform. Digital Tools provides homebuilders with greater transparency and control over their projects. We also believe in contributing to our community beyond offering building supplies. SBS is a long-time supporter of local homebuilder associations and statewide trade organizations like the Alaska State Home Building Association, Alaska General Contractors and Associated Builders and Contractors of Alaska. We’re grateful for the hard work these associations do for Alaska’s building industry. SBS also supports education in local and rural communities from elementary schools all the way through higher education like the University of Alaska Anchorage. We also support statewide events like the Iron Dog, Arctic Winter Games and Alaska State Fair.
