Building Community. Building Hope.

Building a better Anchorage, that’s the promise of the Anchorage Home Builders Association (AHBA) and its members. The AHBA Care Endowment fuels the mission through charitable contributions and driving volunteer efforts to help Alaskans in need of safe, healthy housing. Funded by pledges from AHBA members, the Care Endowment helps the community while also building awareness and raising the profile of Anchorage’s homebuilding industry.

Your Donations Matter

The Care Endowment is funded solely through generous contributions from AHBA members. There are many ways to give and all are tax deductible. For example, members can make flat pledges, or donate a portion of proceeds from the closing of a house or every roofing project completed for an AHBA member contractor. Through donated funds, AHBA can continue its commitment to improving the quality of life in Anchorage while raising awareness about AHBA and its members.

Working together, we can make an impact and build a better community for our neighbors.

Cut for a Cause Success

Our friend Randee Johnson was recently diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. Johnson is the owner of SafeLogic, a company that specializes in staffing safety and administrative personnel to Alaska businesses. Many of our members work with Johnson. However, surgery and chemo have made it very difficult for her to continue to operate her business. When you’re self-employed, that means there’s no income coming in.

Leading up to and at the Parade of Homes Banquet on October 8, 2021. AHBA and our members raised $40,000 for Randee. This was an incredible fundraiser that will help Randee and her family immensely as she continues her battle against cancer.
