Membership Dues Increase

The Anchorage Home Builders Association is a nonprofit trade association representing the residential and construction industry. AHBA is your industry voice, representing more than 170 member companies and over 5,000 industry professionals who are dedicated to increasing housing attainability and maximizing industry profitability. The mission of AHBA is to protect the American Dream of homeownership and consumer protection–through advocacy, education and industry events.

Thank you for being a member of AHBA. Your continued support and dedication to the industry is essential in keeping AHBA thriving. Our goal is to provide opportunities for your business to be successful. In the last 12 months we have made many budget cuts, including relocating the AHBA office to save over 50% in rent annually. Overall operating costs have significantly increased due to global factors in recent times.

The board of directors have a fiduciary responsibility to act in the best interest of the association through the Duty of Care, Duty of Loyalty and Duty of Obedience. After carefully reviewing the finances and discussing the future of AHBA, the board has made a challenging decision to increase membership dues by $100. This increase will go into effect on March 15, 2023.

As always, we strive to evolve, improve member benefits and support your business through advocacy, education and industry events. The dues increase will ensure we continue to provide a high level of member service to you.
